Meet the LDHA Officers
JOANNA PETERS, RDH, BS
Joanna was born in Arkansas, but raised in Ruston, Louisiana. Joanna received her BA in Art Education from Louisiana Tech University in 1998 and her BS in Dental Hygiene from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2005. She has been with Peach Tree Dental in Ruston since July of 1999 as a dental assistant then dental hygienist; she is currently a team leader for the dental assistants, manages the clinical team (assistants and hygienists) and administers local anesthesia for the doctor’s patients. Joanna owns a dental consulting company, Dynamodent Solutions, LLC, which provides time and organizational skill development and training. She has maintained her love of teaching as a former owner and current instructor of a dental assisting school. She is married to Chuck Peters and has 4 furry, four-pawed children, Sammy, Zeus, Dash and Boyd. Joanna has served as a State Delegate for LDHA as well as President-Elect in 2016.

TRACY JORDAN, RDH, BS
Tracy Jordan is a 1987 graduate of University of Louisiana at Monroe and received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She is employed at the Office of Dr. Chris Mott in Shreveport, LA since June 1998. She resides in Gloster with her husband, Eddie. They have two grown children, Kyle and Lauren . Tracy loves traveling to see her children and spending time with family and friends.
She has been active with LDHA for a number of years. 2017- 2018 Past President, 2016-2017 President, 2015-2016 President Elect, 2013-2015 Secretary. She is also servicing on the Legislative Committee.

CARMEN CROSS, RDH, BS
Northeast Component President
Carmen is a current resident of Sterlington, LA. A native Texan, she met her husband, Jerod Cross, in college and soon moved to Louisiana where they were blessed with two girls: Hannah (15) and Ella (11). Carmen was exposed to the dental field at an early age while participating in medical mission trips to Guatemala. She has worked in multiple fields of dentistry including general practice, cosmetics, pediatrics and oral surgery. Carmen has a passion for preventative dentistry and completed her BS in Dental Hygiene at the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2005. She currently is a part-time instructor at ULM while also doing fill-in work for multiple local dental offices. Carmen has a big heart for missions and enjoys being a part of the Louisiana Missions of Mercy efforts. Carmen has been a member of ADHA since 2005 and has served as President for the NELDHA component in the past. She also served as the Vice President of the LDHA in 2016.

AMBER KREKO, RDH,BS
Vice President 2017-2018
Amber Kreko graduated in 2012 from Louisiana State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2008. While in school, Amber became active with ADHA and served as the Student Delegate for District VI. She currently serves as the Vice-President.
Amber is from Baton Rouge but resides in Metairie, LA. She currently works at different offices throughout southeast Louisiana. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of New Orleans. In her spare time, Amber enjoys playing with her dog, Camo, going out to dinner, and spending time with family and friends.
SHANDI LANDRY, RDH, BS
Shandi Landry is a 2005 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe and received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been employed by MJY Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Lafayette since 2006 and Gary Family Dental in New Iberia since 2010.
As an active member of the ADHA and Acadiana Component since 2005, Shandi has served as Newsletter Editor from 2008 to 2011 and Component President from 2011-2014. Shandi was LDHA President in 2015-2016 as well as ADHA IOH Liaison during that time. Shandi is currently the LDHA Secretary.
Shandi loves to hand out with her family and friends, crafting, and D.Y.I. projects. Her favorite quote is: “Don’t take life to serious, we are not getting out alive.”
DONNA SARABIA, RDH
Donna Sarabia graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at LSUSD in 1992. She has been a member of the ADHA/LDHA since graduation, other than a short lapse in the late 90's. She has worked in family practice for Drs. Moffatt & Walsh in Harahan for almost 25 years. She is serving as the current LDHA Treasurer-Elect.
Donna resides in Destrehan with her husband Juan. They have two grown children, Juan Jr. and Bethany. She spends her evenings at the ballpark playing softball or at her sewing machine making memory quilts. Her favorite quote:

LESLIE CVITANOVIC, RDH
Senior Delegate 2017
Leslie Cvitanovic was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She graduated with a BS in Dental Hygiene in 2007 from LSU School of Dentistry. Leslie has been an ADHA member since graduating in 2007. She has served on her local New Orleans component board as Vice President from 2010-2013, President Elect from 2013-2014, and President from 2014-present. She concurrently serves as a delegate for LDHA.
Leslie works in the riverbend area of Uptown New Orleans at Uptown Dental for Dr Sammy Tom. She has worked with Dr Tom for 10 years as a hygienist and was even his assistant before that while she worked toward her hygiene degree. Leslie has volunteered several times with Team Smile and the LA Mission of Mercy.
Leslie is married to Mark Cvitanovic and they recently welcomed a baby girl, Mia Grace, in November 2016. Leslie enjoys spending time with her family, attending Saints games, LSU sporting events, UNO basketball games, and has been a season ticket holder for the New Orleans Pelicans.
JESSICA SMITH, RDH
Baton Rouge Component President
Jessica Smith is a Registered Dental Hygienist and a graduate from Louisiana Science Center School of Dentistry. Jessica has over 10 years of clinical hygiene experience and was a dental assistant for 5 years prior to her hygiene degree. Jessica was recently nominated for the Alternate Delegate position with the LDHA. She is currently the President for the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Hygienist Association and was their past Vice President. She is the Regional Coordinator of the Louisiana Oral Cancer Foundation. She volunteers, organizes and provides free public oral cancer screening events to raise awareness for oral cancer. She organizes the Baton Rouge Oral Cancer Walk/Run for Awareness to provide education, raise awareness, help provide funding for research, and patient supporting services. In 2014, she received the Sunstar Award of Distinction for excellence in dental hygiene beyond their basic duties and clinical setting. Jessica works with Forward Science in promoting oral cancer screening devices and early detection. Jessica brings her expertise and education to each patient for them to reach and maintain their highest level of oral hygiene. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Ben Franklin
CHRISTY WILSON, RDH, BS
Newsletter/Website Editor & Historian
Christy Wilson is a 2005 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe and received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been employed by House Family Dentistry in Haughton, Louisiana since July 2005.
As an active member of the Shreveport-Bossier Component, Christy has served as Newsletter/Website Editor since 2005 and as Vice President in 2007. In 2010, Christy became the Newsletter/Website Editor & Historian for the LDHA. Christy was also a Delegate in 2011 and 2012.
Christy has lived in Bossier City, Louisiana her whole life. She married her high school sweetheart, Ryan, in 2005 and they have one daughter, Shelby, born in April 2013. Faith, family, and friends are the most important things to her. “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” Colossians 3:23.
CARRIE DAIGLE BACH, RDH, BS
New Orleans Component President
Carrie, a New Orleans' native and resident, has been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the uptown area since her graduation in 2002. She attended Loyola University and LSU School of Dentistry where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Carrie has served on the board for the New Orleans Dental Hygienists' Association as Secretary, President, Past President/Continuing Education Chair and currently holds the position of President. She has served as a member of LSU School of Dentistry External Advisory Committee as well as on the school's Dental Hygiene Advisory Board. An ADHA (American Dental Hygienists' Association) member, she has chaired the LDHA Annual Session as well. A sustainer of the Junior League of New Orleans, Carrie has served on such committees as Julia Jump, Save Our Cemeteries, and the Children's Hospital Sugarplum Ball in addition to others. Carrie can also be seen donating her time on stage to the performing arts in many community theater musical productions. Carrie is happy to be a team member of Avenue Family Dentistry since it's inception in 2016 and also for Dr. Frank Martello in NOLA!
ALLYSON HARDAWAY, RDH, BS
Shreveport-Bossier Component President
Allyson Hardaway has been the Shreveport-Bossier Component President since 2016. She graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She has been working at Mansfield Dental Clinic with Dr. Andrew Murphy since January 2011.
Allyson enjoys spending time with her family, including her 3 nephews and 1 niece, and has started a small business with her sisters selling LulaRoe clothing. Her favorite vacation spot is Disney World or somewhere cold like Alaska. Her favorite bible verse is Isaiah 40:31 “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
MYRA HEBERT, RDH, M.Ed.
Acadiana Component President
Myra Hebert currently resides in Lafayette, Louisiana. A graduate of Northeast Louisiana University Dental Hygiene Program and University of Louisiana at Lafayette has worked in both private practice and dental hygiene education. Positions on the LDHA Board include Parliamentarian, Junior Delegate, Senior Delegate, and Vice President and President of Acadiana District Dental Hygienists’ Association. She received the LDHA Outstanding Dental Hygienist’s Award in 2009 and 2011. She served as co-chairman of the 2009 LDHA Annual Session.
Myra is married to Mark Hebert and has two daughters, two dogs, and one cat. She is not currently employed by a dental office and plans to do some dental hygiene temping work in the future.
TERRI LINZAY, RDH, BS
Alexandria Component President
Terri Linzay is a 1980 graduate of the LSU School of Dentistry and received her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene. She started her career working in general dentistry. In August of 1988, she started working at a periodontal office, and knew it was where she needed to be. Terri is still at the same periodontal office. She also works at a general dentist office and a free dental clinic. In her spare time she is sub school bus driver, private investigator, and recently started her own family video transfer business.
Terri is an active member of the ADHA. She and fellow hygienists started the Alexandria component of the LDHA in 2014 and she is their current president. Terri was LDHA President in 2014.
Terri was raised on a small farm in Cheneyville, LA and as the oldest of four children she learned quickly about chores which made work easier. But not studying! First and foremost, she is a Christian. Also, the mother of six daughters and a grandmother. They keep her busy. Terri’s hobbies are redoing furniture, reading and cooking. Her favorite saying is "Never Give Up”
Debbi Mitchell, has been the LDHA Executive Secretary since January 2003, when LDHA President, Rebekah Anzalone, hired her to fill this position on the board. She is married and has three married daughters and 6 grandchildren, and spends a lot of her vacation time visiting the ones who live away. She enjoys painting with watercolors and acrylics and sewing. Her favorite quote is, “For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not die, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.
